AtAurora mRNA abundance assessed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR in seedlings, flower buds, roots, old and young leaves, flowers and stems. Each sample contained approximately the same amount of RNA as revealed by the nearly homogeneous amplification of constitutive serine/threonine protein phosphatases (PP1) TOOP2 (At5g59160) (Smith and Walker, 1993) transcripts.

Supplemental figure 2 online(A) SDS-PAGE separated purified recombinant Arabidopsis histone H3 protein (At1g09200) used for immunization after Coomassie blue staining (first lane) or subsequently probed by immunoblotting using the antisera produced against recombinant histone H3 (second lane). (B) Indirect immunodetection of histone H3 yields a disperse labelling of Arabidopsis nuclei.
