Supplemental Figure 1 -
Supplemental Figure 1. The TIP1 mRNA coding region encodes a 620 amino acid polypeptide. The DHHC motif is highlighted in black.tip1-1 carries a G/A point mutation in the splice site between exon 10 and intron 10 indicated by the black arrowhead. Intron 10 is retained by some transcripts in the tip1-1 mutant and is shown in grey text. The position of the tip1-2 T/A point mutation at nucleotide 123 is highlighted in grey. The first base of the TIP1 sequence after leaving the left border of the T-DNA insertion in tip1-3 is underlined (base 1276).
Supplemental Figure 2 -
Supplemental Figure 2. DHHC-CRD proteins of Arabidopsis contain 2 major groups of proteins, as well as 2 pairs of closely related proteins and 5 proteins of lesser homology to each other. Bootstrap values are expressed as percentages.

Supplemental Figure 3. Multiple alignment of Arabidopsis DHHC-CRD domain containing proteins used to create the phylogram in Supplemental Figure S2. Note the regions of homology around the core DHHC motif (indicated by asterisks).
