Supplemental Figure 1. Detergent-solubilized extracts from Arabidopsis cultured cells were immunoprecipitated with rabbit antibodies against either BiP or AtVSR (IP). The immunoprecipitates were subjected to an immunoblot with each of mouse monoclonal antibody against Actin, anti-BiP antibody, and anti-AtVSR antibody (IB). Non-specific IgG bands, which were given with an overabundant exposure to the X-ray film, were used as a loading control. Neither BiP nor AtVSR were co-immunoprecipitated with actin protein.

Video 1 GFP-fluorescent endomembranes in a 10-day-old leaf of GFP-2sc. Surface sections of epidermal cells of the leaf were inspected with a confocal laser scanning microscope. Frames which were taken every 3.87 s are played back at 12 frames/s (46x).

Video 2 GFP-fluorescent endomembranes in a 10-day-old leaf of kam1-1. Surface sections of epidermal cells of the leaf were inspected with a confocal laser scanning microscope. Frames which were taken every 6.19 s are played back at 8 frames/s (50x).
