Supplemental Video 1. FRAP of Sl LHP1-GFP at chromocenter of Arabidopsis nucleus. High-powered laser of a confocal microscope was used to bleach Sl LHP1-GFP molecules in a rectangular area of the chromocenter. Low intensity illumination was then used to image movement of unbleached Sl LHP1-GFP into the bleached area. Images were collected every 0.170 sec and video was generated by Image J software, and pseudo colored red (low fluorescence intensity)/green (high fluorescence intensity). The actual recovery time is shown on the video.
