The Protein Pattern of the Fraction Enriched in Eyespot Fragments is Reproducible and Was Cut into 54 Slices for Proteomic Analysis. (A) SDS-PAGE of proteins from five different eyespot preparations. Proteins were stained with silver. Numbers indicate the apparent molecular masses of marker proteins. (B) Preparative SDS-PAGE used for proteomic analysis. A protein aliquot of the eyespot fragments (40 μg) was separated on an 11% gel and stained with Bio-SafeTM Coomassie (BioRad). Slices excised for analysis are indicated on the right. The positions of molecular mass markers are indicated on the left (in kDa).
